DUE · PRIVATE TRIAL
Privacy in the private trial
Updated 25 September 2026. This describes the current owner trial.
Requesting removal
Email Robert Hamilton to request workspace removal. We verify the request and confirm whether you want an export first. Account settings includes a download of your workspace records. Removal is operator-assisted, not an automatic button.
The removal process covers the workspace’s live plans, history, feedback and associated account records held in Due’s database. Sign-in provider records and retained email-provider records require separate review. Copies of emails already delivered to recipients remain in their mailboxes.
We retain a minimal removal record containing the workspace identifier and removal date, so an older backup can be restored without bringing that workspace back. Recovery depends on retaining and applying the current removal record. Backup copies expire separately under the retention arrangements below.
Who operates Due
Due’s trial is operated by Robert Hamilton. For support, questions about your information or privacy requests, email Man_lvl_o2@hotmail.com. You do not need to sign in to contact us by email.
What Due holds and why
- Account and workspace: sign-in identity, name, email and business name, so you can sign in and open your workspace.
- Plans and history: item names and types, requirements, dates, repeat rules, responsible person, reminder addresses, notes and completion/edit history, to maintain your register.
- Reminder records: recipient and reminder content, sending results and provider references, to send reminders and avoid duplicate sends.
- Feedback: report text, expected result, whether a task was blocked, workspace/name, page and app version. A contact email is saved when you choose follow-up. These help us investigate problems and improve Due.
Sign-in and required plan fields are needed to use their features. Notes, feedback and follow-up contact are optional. A plan without a recipient will not receive reminders. Only add other people’s details when you have a proper reason and they understand how those details will be used.
Who processes the information
Cloudflare hosts Due and its database. Clerk handles sign-in and account security. Resend processes reminder emails. Backblaze B2 stores encrypted independent backups. Healthchecks monitors whether scheduled jobs succeeded; Due’s monitor pings do not include plan contents.
These services may process information outside New Zealand. The independent backup bucket is in the United States. This is not a New Zealand-only storage service. Provider settings and safeguards must be reviewed before wider use.
Access and protection
Due checks the signed-in account on the server to keep business workspaces separate. The feedback inbox is restricted to the product owner’s configured account. People operating the trial can access systems and records when needed to support and maintain Due.
Sign-in credentials are handled by Clerk. Independent backups are encrypted before upload. Feedback is reviewed manually; no AI feedback analysis is enabled. Due uses sign-in/session storage and a temporary return-page reference to bring you back to the plan you opened after signing in.
How long information stays
Workspace records and feedback currently remain stored until removal is arranged; there is no automatic end-of-trial deletion. Independent backups use a rule that hides files after 30 days and deletes hidden versions after a further day. Removing an active record would not immediately remove it from existing backups. Provider logs and account records follow their own settings and retention policies.
Before outside testers join, the organiser will confirm the trial-end removal process. Do not assume that closing your browser or deleting your sign-in account removes your workspace.
